How do I update the CCM Firmware through Velocity?

Updating CCM Firmware can be done easily through Velocity software. CCM files can be obtained through Identiv Support’s site

Below are the steps to complete this task:

  • Download the CCM firmware through the Partner Portal link on the Identiv Support page

  • Once downloaded, inside Velocity, select the ID Icon, then Data Exchange, then CCM Import

  • Once there, select the file, select next, then finish

  • Next, open Controller Properties, then select Update CCM Firmware

  • Please do not power down the controller during a firmware flash. While the CCM is downloading the firmware file, the controller will remain connected to Velocity. During the firmware flashing the controller will reboot and reconnect to Velocity.

  • Once complete you should see a Firmware updated completed message in event viewer. You can also go into the controller properties to see the updated firmware revision.
