Overview

RBH Plug-In for 3VR is an access control plug-in that is used primarily by Facebook. The sections in this guide discuss about Installing, configuring, and binding of cameras using RBH.

Opening Network Ports

In addition to the default ports the 3VR uses for communication*, the following ports will also have to be open to to use the RBH plug-in:

To view the current list of required ports, visit www.3VR.com and click Services & Support > FAQ. Open the FAQ titled “What ports must be open to connect to a 3VR VIP Appliance that’s behind a firewall?”

Installing RBH Application on Appliance

  1. Launch 3VR System Manager.

  2. In the Configure panel, click the plus sign beside the appliance name.

  3. Right-click the Plug-ins folder and select Add Plug-in.

  4. In the resulting Confirm dialog box, click Install to proceed.

  5. Navigate to the folder containing the plug-in file (Plugins.RbhTCPTransaction-Release-1.0.0.XXXXX-7.0) and click to highlight the file.

  6. Click OK. The plug-in will now begin installing.

  7. When the plug-in is installed, it will appear below Plug-ins in System Manager.

Configuring Global Plug-In Settings

  1. Select the RBH Transaction Application (TCP) plug-in. Plug-in settings will appear in the right-hand panel of SystemManager.

  2. Click Edit Settings.
