The Photo Call-Up feature allows the user to see the most recent badges scanned by a reader with each credential general information.

To view the credentials through Photo Call-Up:

  1. Select the Photo Call-Up tab. A set of photo credentials for all doors get displayed as shown.

The Photo Call-Up screen shows only the recent credential accessed and scrolls the old credentials to the right. Each transaction that is displayed is clickable and displays which door was last scanned by the credential with date and time as shown below.

Host Time

The date and time this event was recorded by the Velocity server.

Controller Time

The date and time this event occurred at the controller.  This value will be different from the Host Time only if the controller is located in a different time zone, or if there is a delay between the time the event occurs on the controller and the time when it is received by the Velocity server.

Description

A brief description of the event. This should supply a message indicating what the event was and where it took place.

Address

The unique address Velocity assigns to this point.  This indicates the exact point where the event took place.

Event ID

The ID number for this event.

Photo Call-Up Configuration

The Configuration button in Photo Call-Up allows you to configure and modify the doors you want to display.

To configure the doors:

  1. Click the Photo Call-Up tab and click the Configure button.
    The Photo Call-Up Configuration windows displays.

This table lists the actions that can be performed.

View

 

Maximum recent credentials shown per door

Enter the number of credentials you want displayed per door.

Minimum is 1 and Maximum is 10. 

The default is 10.

Show “All doors” section

This checkbox enables the view of the All doors section at the top of the Photo Call-Up screen. 

This is checked by default.

Load Cached Entries

This checkbox allows the system to load cached entries of old credentials scanned. 

This is checked by default.

Show door name used at bottom of credentials

This checkbox allows displaying the door name at the bottom of credentials. 

This is checked by default.

Date and Time appear at top of credentials

This checkbox allows displaying the Date and Time the credential was scanned at the top of the credential. 

This is checked by default.

Apply Border color to most recent credential

This checkbox allows displaying the recently scanned credential with a border color. 

This is checked by default.

Red border on Access Denied transactions will override the default border color.

View individual doors in full length

This checkbox allows displaying each door in full length for viewing. 

This is unchecked by default.

Available Doors

List of available doors

Checkbox allows you to select or unselect all the controllers and display the associated doors on the right side. 

Only 10 doors are allowed to be used for Photo Call-Up.

Search & Sort

The search function allows you to quickly find the door you want by typing any part of the door name. 

For more information, please click Search & sort button functionalities.

Add

Click this button to Add the doors checked in the list of  Available doors to show up in the Photo Call-up. 

The selected doors are moved to the bottom pane.

Remove

Click this button to Remove the doors checked from displaying in Photo Call-Up. 

The selected door will be returned to the List of available doors section.

Save Changes

Click this button to save your configurations made.

Cancel

Click this button to discard changes and exit this window.

Hiding Doors

To display or hide doors:

  1. Click the Photo Call-Up tab.

  2. Click on the individual door button to hide or display the door and associated scanned credentials. For example, Door 01.

Only the individual doors (Door 01 and Door 02) accessed by the credentials are displayed with their details as shown below:

You can use your mouse to drag and drop and order the doors you are monitoring to wherever preferred location you desire on your screen at any time as shown below.

Whenever a credential for a designated door is denied access, the name and ID of the person assigned to the credential, together with the date and time when this credential was read by the door's entry/exit reader is displayed with the following border color:

  • Access Granted is shown in green with a green circle with a check mark on top right . Hovering your mouse over it will display Access Granted.

  • Access Denied is shown in red with a red circle with a stop symbol on top right . Hovering your mouse over it will display Access Denied.

  • Most recent access is shown in blue (overridden by red if its an access denied) .
