MAN001-1221

Removed a list under the “Replaceable Parts of an Mx-1 Controller” topic under Components of the Mx-1 Controller section in Mx-1 (includes Mx1-W and Mx-1-ME) chapter that previously described Mx-1 support standby batteries.

Under the list revised the standby battery support for Mx-1-ME model with Hitachi Chemical Energy Technology, part# GP1272.

Based on EN62368-1 Product Safety Standards Regulatory Compliance made the following revisions:

  • Added a note under PACS Controllers section in Design considerations of the Mx Controllers and Mx-1 Controllers topic to indicate installation on a wall made of combustible material should not be made and that the Mx Controller does not support an all-pole mains switch.

  • Revised the standby battery row in "Replaceable Parts for the Different Models of the Mx Controller" table under Components of the Mx Controller in Mx Controller (includes Mx2/4/8) chapter in PACS Controllers for Mx-4 and Mx-8 controllers with ZEUS manufacturer and amp-hours of the battery's capacity to 9 Ah to match 12 v battery. Also added a note to notify the risk of explosion if an incorrect battery type is replaced.

  • Updated the list under the “Replaceable Parts of an Mx-1 Controller” topic under Components of the Mx-1 Controller section in Mx-1 (includes Mx1-W and Mx-1-ME) chapter along with a note and standby battery details of an Mx-1 controllers.

Included instructions on how to configure credentials for arming and disarming the burglary alarm system through Velocity.

Included summary of their Class 2 power-limited outputs and Power Limitation Board to add Class 2 power-limited outputs.

Included instructions for the user to program/implement the acknowledgement signal/local annunciation

Added UL requirements for the PS2 power supply

Updated the alarm relay ratings as specified in the UL report from 24Vdc, 2A to 24 Vdc, 1 A resistive across the manual.

Added note to include SPSH-1 was not evaluated by UL

Added the PS2 Power Supply for Scramble Pad 

Resized the DTLM and MELM wiring diagrams to fit to the pages

Updated the “UL 294 Rating Achieved by the Different Models of Mx Series Controllers” table in UL Requirements.

Added a topic “Mx-S3OB Controller” in UL Requirements. 

Updated “UL-Listed DIGI*TRAC Components” section for Mx-S3OB Controller.

Added a topic for Mx-S3OB Controllers. 

Updated DigiTrac Controller Models section for Mx-S3OB Controllers.

Added a column to the Table that provides the main features of the DIGI*TRAC controllers to support Mx-S3OB. 

Updated Mx Controller chapter to add Mx-S3OB models to show similar ratings as Mx-2, Mx-4, and Mx-8.
