How to reset a 3VR SmartCam to default settings

It is necessary to reset 3VR system after upgrading the firmware, or after resolving a problem that you think might be fixed.

The camera reset will clear out the date/time and IP address settings. The customer will need to know this information and have access to the IQ Finder application so they can reprogram the camera after the reset.

Remote Reset

  1. Enter the following URL into your web browser's address bar: URL format (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/set.oid?OidTB2.13) ,  where xxx represents the IP address of the camera. You will see the message "Server reset scheduled - delay 0 minutes" when the camera is restarting.

Local Reset

  1. Power off,

  2. Press and hold the reset button,

  3. Power on,

  4. Hold for 10-15 seconds then let go.
