In 7.0 and later versions,, the Face option appears once cameras are enabled. In the Monitor panel, the Faces checkbox will appear in the event type menu only if the selected cameras have face finding enabled and face events have occurred within the selected time frame. |

If you are trying to set up a camera for face recognition, you need enough light on the face, not too much light behind them, and a small enough exposure time that they don't stretch or pixelate. |
