Configuring Per-Camera Settings
After binding cameras to the plug-in (Step 2.3), links will appear under Bound Cameras for each camera.
In the Edit “[Camera Name]” Settings dialog you will link one or more scales to the current camera. When a truck arrives on the scale, an event will be generated with video from this camera.
Type the ID of the scale in the Scale IDs box. The ID should be a twelve character string assigned by CEMEX.
To link more than one scale to video from this camera, enter additional scale IDs, separated by a comma and no spaces.
The Pre-Event Buffer and Post-Event Buffer settings control how many seconds of video to buffer before and after a Cemex scale event occurs. The default (2 seconds) will be sufficient in most cases.
Type the port used for the integration in the Tcp Port box.
Click OK to save your changes and return to the Configure panel.
Repeat steps 2-6 for any remaining cameras bound to the Cemex plug-in.
Configuring Unmapped Cameras
It is recommended to configure an unmapped camera for the Cemex plug-in. The unmapped camera will capture transactions with unbound scale IDs. Any transaction data not formatted according to the print template, shown in the Appendix, will be routed to this channel. As a result, transactions sent to this channel may not be formatted as expected.
Use the following steps to configure an unmapped camera:
Return to the Edit Bound Cameras dialog and select another camera. The best choice for the unmapped camera is a camera with a general view, such as an overhead camera.
Click OK.
Click the link to edit the settings of the unmapped camera.
In the pop-up dialog, type the word “unmapped” (one word, lower-case, without the quotes) in the Scale ID box.
Click OK.
