Log on to the Software House C•CURE system with a user account with administrative access.
Double-click the 3VR_C•CureInstaller-Release-7.0.0.98811-final.exe file to launch the InstallShield Wizard.
It may be necessary to right-click the .exe and select Run as administrator.The C•CURE integration requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 to function.
Click Install to proceed.
At the Install Shield Wizard Welcome screen, click Next >.
At the Custom Setup screen, specify which component of the integration to install. By default, both components are selected.
Server
If the current machine is the C•CURE server, this should be selected
If it is a C•CURE client PC, click the drop-down arrow and select This feature will not be installed
Client
If the current machine is the C•CURE server and it does not have client software also installed, click the drop-down arrow and select This feature will not be installed
If it is a C•CURE client PC, this should be selected
Click Next >.
If the Server component was selected in step 5, the Database Server screen will appear. Specify the following:
The location of the C•CURE database server
How to connect to the database. If not using Windows authentication credentials, select ¤ Server authentication using the Login ID and password below and enter the user name and password to use to connect to the database
The name of the C•CURE database catalog
Click Next >.
Click Install to install the software.
When installation is complete, click Finish to close the wizard.

Launch the C•CURE 9000 Server Configuration Application.
In the Services tab, confirm that the Crossfire Server Component Framework is running. If it is stopped, click Start Service to restart it.
Click the Server Components tab.
Locate the ThreeVRVideoServerComponent.
Click the box labeled Enabled to check it, then click Start Service.
Verify that this component’s Status changes to Running.

In C•CURE Administration Workstation, click the Video tab in the left-hand panel.
Expand the video tree to the location where you wish to create the 3VR VMS server. Typically this will be under the “CompanyName” folder.
Right-click this folder and select 3VR Server > New.
Editing Existing VMS Servers
In C•CURE Administration Workstation, click the Video tab in the left-hand panel.
Expand the video tree to the location of the 3VR VMS Server you wish to edit
Double-click the VMS server name (or right click and select Edit) to open the VMS server for editing.
Configuring 3VR VMS Server Settings

c. Enabled – This check box enables or disables the 3VR VMS Server.

d. Time Zone – This is the Time Zone of the 3VR VMS server. To configure the Time Zone, click the ... button and select the time zone where the 3VR VMS server is installed from the list.

Select the Video tab.
Navigate to the 3VR VMS server.
To add a new camera, right-click the VMS server name and select 3VR Camera > New.
Editing an Existing Camera

Navigate to the 3VR VMS server.
Click the arrow to the left of the VMS server name to expand the list of cameras that have been imported or added to the VMS server.
Double-click a camera (or right-click and select Edit) to open the camera for editing.

i. A Video Camera Alarm is activated when a particular type of video is recorded. The following options are available in the Value drop-down menu:

Normal – This alarm is activated when a camera returns to normal from one of the next three states.
Motion – This alarm is activated when motion is detected on a camera. Note that 3VR records motion-based video by default, and therefore a motion alarm will receive numerous alarms.
Analytics – This alarm is activated whenever an Alert Watch occurs (see section 8.3 for more information).
Alarm – This alarm is activated whenever a 3VR Alarm Event occurs.

The Alert Watch is designed to watch for 3VR Events with Alerts and bring that functionality into the C•CURE application. When a 3VR Event with an Alert that is monitored by an active Alert Watch occurs, a C•CURE Journal Message will be created with the format:
3VR Alert ([alert name]) occurred on Appliance ‘[VMS server name]’, Camera ‘[camera name]’.
In addition, whenever the C•CURE integration receives notification from an Alert Watch, it will activate any video camera alarms of type Analytics that have been established for the corresponding camera.
