Log on to the Software House C•CURE system with a user account with administrative access.
Double-click the 3VR_C•CureInstaller-Release-7.0.0.98811-final.exe file to launch the InstallShield Wizard.
It may be necessary to right-click the .exe and select Run as administrator.The C•CURE integration requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 to function.
Click Install to proceed.
At the InstallShield Wizard Welcome screen, click Next >.
At the Custom Setup screen, specify which component of the integration to install. By default, both components are selected.
Server
If the current machine is the C•CURE server, this should be selected
If it is a C•CURE client PC, click the drop-down arrow and select This feature will not be installed
Client
If the current machine is the C•CURE server and it does not have client software also installed, click the drop-down arrow and select This feature will not be installed
If it is a C•CURE client PC, this should be selected
Click Next >.
If the Server component was selected in step 5, the Database Server screen will appear. Specify the following:
The location of the C•CURE database server
How to connect to the database. If not using Windows authentication credentials, select ¤ Server authentication using the Login ID and password below and enter the user name and password to use to connect to the database
The name of the C•CURE database catalog
Click Next >.
Click Install to install the software.
When installation is complete, click Finish to close the wizard.

c. Enabled – This check box enables or disables the 3VR VMS Server.
In the General Tab:
d. Time Zone – This is the Time Zone of the 3VR VMS server. To configure the Time Zone, click the ... button and select the time zone where the 3VR VMS server is installed from the list.
e. User Name and Password – The user name and password of the 3VR user account created in Creating 3VR User Account for C•CURE Integration topic section.
f. IP Address – The IP Address of the 3VR VMS server.
g. Connect button – This is used to connect the 3VR VMS server. After a successful connection attempt, the Online check box will become checked and the Import Cameras button will become enabled.
h. Import Cameras – Clicking this button will automatically import all enabled analog and IP cameras on the VMS server into C•CURE.
i. Poll Period – This is the interval at which the server is polled for connection information for this VMS server and its cameras.
In the Alarms tab, you may optionally configure an alarm for the current VMS server:
j. Click the Add button to add a new alarm for the VMS server.
k. When the alarm has been added, click the Property column, then click the ... button and select Video Server Alarm.
l. Select an option from the Value drop-down:
Online: This alarm is activated when the connection to the 3VR VMS server is lost.
Offline: This alarm is activated when the connection to the 3VR VMS server is regained.

n. Refer to the C•CURE documentation for assistance configuring the State Images tab.
o. To save, click Save and Close.
Managing 3VR Cameras
Adding a New Camera
Use the following steps to add a new camera to a 3VR VMS server in C•CURE Administration Workstation.
Select the Video tab.
Navigate to the 3VR VMS server.
To add a new camera, right-click the VMS server name and select 3VR Camera > New.
Editing an Existing Camera
If cameras were automatically imported during VMS server configuration (step 7.2.3) they will already be listed under the VMS server name in the Video tab. Use the following steps to view and/or edit the settings of an existing camera:
Select the Video tab.
Navigate to the 3VR VMS server.
Click the arrow to the left of the VMS server name to expand the list of cameras that have been imported or added to the VMS server.
Double-click a camera (or right-click and select Edit) to open the camera for editing.
Editing 3VR Camera Settings
The following settings may be configured for each 3VR camera integrated with C•CURE:
a. Name – The name of the 3VR camera. This name will be used to identify the camera in the C•CURE system, and does not have to match the name assigned to the camera in 3VR System Manager.
b. Description – A description of the camera.
c. Enabled – This check box enables or disables the camera.
In the General tab:
d. Camera Type – This is the type of camera. Select Fixed for a standard camera or Dome for a PTZ camera.
e. Number – The display number of the camera.
f. Video Viewer – Displays the current video feed from the camera. This requires the 3VR VMS server to be enabled and connected.
In the Alarms tab, you may optionally configure an alarm for the current camera:
g. Click the Add button to add a new alarm for the camera.
h. When the alarm has been added, click the Property column, then click the ... button and select either Video Camera Alarm or Video loss.
i. A Video Camera Alarm is activated when a particular type of video is recorded. The following options are available in the Value drop-down menu:
Normal – This alarm is activated when a camera returns to normal from one of the next three states.
Motion – This alarm is activated when motion is detected on a camera. Note that 3VR records motion-based video by default, and therefore a motion alarm will receive numerous alarms.
Analytics – This alarm is activated whenever an Alert Watch occurs (see section 8.3

Alarm – This alarm is activated whenever a 3VR Alarm Event occurs.
j. A Video loss alarm is activated when the system detects that the camera is no longer recording. The following states are possible for the Value check box:
Checked – The alarm will be activated when the video feed is lost on a 3VR camera
Unchecked – The alarm will be activated when the video feed is regained on a 3VR camera

Watching 3VR Video in C•CURE Administration Workstation
Viewing a 3VR Camera
Use the following steps view the video from a 3VR camera in C•CURE Administration Workstation:
Click the Video tab in the left-hand panel.
In the video tree, navigate to the VMS server with the camera that you wish to view.
Click the arrow to the left of the VMS server name to expand the list of cameras.
Right-click the camera you wish to view and select one of the following options:
View – Opens the camera in a new tab.
Popup view – Opens the camera in a pop-up window.
View in current tab – Opens the camera in the current tab.
Camera View Options
The following options are available when viewing video from both fixed and PTZ cameras:
Show Overlay – Displays the camera number and name.
Export/Snapshot – Take a snapshot or export video.
