In 3VR OpCenter, click the Monitor tab.
Click camera numbers to select the cameras associated with the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
Click the arrow below the camera selector to open the event type drop-down menu.
Select [ ]Advanced Object and click OK.
The Monitor panel will update to display only Advanced Object events from the selected cameras.
To view an event, click the event card. The event card will turn blue, indicating it is currently selected.

In addition to the tabs available for all event types, such as Notes and Images, Advanced Object events include the following information in the Details tab:

Directions: The direction the object was traveling it
Speed: The speed of the object
Size: The size of the object relative to the rest of the field of view

Under Events, check the box next to [ ]Advanced Object to search for events generated by the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
Click ( )Specify.
Change the Sort Results By radio button to ( )Similarity.
Modify the ( )Specify search options as desired. The following options will produce meaningful results when sorting by similarity:

Creating Alerts for Advanced Object Events
In the Alerts panel, you can instruct the 3VR appliance to perform a specified action when video is recorded that matches certain criteria. Use the following steps to set up an alert that will perform an action, such as sending an email, in response to an event generated by the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
To go to the Alerts panel, click the Alerts tab.
To create a new alert, click New.
In the alert editing screen, define the criteria for the alert:Type a name for the alert.
Select a color for the alert. The color will be displayed on event cards that trigger the alert.
Specify the day of the week and hours that the alert should be active.
Under Cameras, select a camera associated with the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
Check the boxes next to one or more alert Actions to carry out when the alert is triggered.
If desired, type an alert response procedure. This text will be included with the alert and posted on events
that trigger the alert.Under Events, check [ ]Advanced Object.
The following options are available when alerting for Advanced Object events:Select ( )All Advanced Object to generate an alert for all objects captured during the specified time range.
To create an alert for specific objects, select ( )Specify. The options under ( )Specify are identical to the
event selector in the Search panel. Please refer to the previous section for more information.
When you are finished defining the criteria for the alert, click the Save button.
The alert will be added to the list of alerts displayed in the main view of the Alerts panel. Click the check box next to the alert to enable it.
Advanced Object Event Reports
Running Advanced Object Event Reports
The 3VR Report Viewer client application allows you to generate tabular reports based on data captured by the 3VR system. Use the following steps to set up a report for events generated by the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
From the Report Viewer home screen, click the New button.
Select Event Report from the menu.
Report Viewer will switch to the report editing screen.In the appliance tree in the left-hand panel, select an appliance with the Advanced Object Tracking plugin installed on it.
Under Cameras, select one or more cameras bound to the Advanced Object Tracking plug-in.
Under Events, check [ ]Advanced Object. The following options are available when reporting on Advanced Object events:
Select ( )All Advanced Object to create a report tallying all objects.
To further restrict the report, select ( )Specify. The options under ( )Specify are identical to the event selector in the Search panel. Please refer to section 2 for more information.
The fields under Report Parameters allow you to define the metadata of the report definition, such as its name and scope:
Type a name and description for the report.
Define the Date Range, Time Scope, and Interval.
Select an option for the Group By and Then By drop-down menus to group report results by properties of Advanced Object events.
For example, select Camera from the Group By menu and Speed from the Then By menu to group first by camera, then by the speed of objects.When you are finished defining the criteria for the report definition, click the Save Report button.
To run the Advanced Object event report, select the report definition from the list and click Run Report.
Report Viewer will immediately begin generating the report. While the report is processing, it will appear under Pending Reports. When the report has been processed, it will move to the list of Saved Reports that have been generated from the report definition. Select the report and click View to view the report.
