Queue
Queue analytics in 3VR VMS sends alerts and events about objects or people in standing in a queue and their average waiting time for checkout. The system sends alerts when the number of people exceeds the threshold limit for a single queue.

Viewing Queue Events
Monitoring Recent Queue Events in the Monitor Panel
The OpCenter Monitor panel allows you to view events as they happen. You can specify which cameras to view, and what types of events are displayed.
Use the following steps to view recent events generated by the Queue Line plug-in:
In 3VR OpCenter, click the Monitor tab to go to the Monitor panel.
Click camera numbers to select the cameras associated with the Queue Line plug-in.
Click the arrow below the camera selector to open the event type drop-down menu.
Select [ ]Queue to display events of that type.
Click OK. The Monitor panel will update to display only Queue events from the selected cameras.
To view an event, click the event card. The event card will turn blue, indicating it is currently selected.
Viewing Queue Events
When a Queue event card is selected, the video clip
associated with the event will play back in the video
player.
Details about the event may be viewed in the event
editor, located below the video player.
In addition to the tabs available for all event types,
such as Notes and Images, Queue events include the following information in the Details tab:
Shortest: The shortest queue observed over the duration of the Queue event
Peak: The longest queue observed over the duration of the Queue event
Average: The average queue length over the duration of the Queue event
About Queue Event Cards
A Queue event will be generated in OpCenter at the interval specified during plug-in configuration. By default, a queue event is generated every 2 minutes.
Queue event cards contain pictures, video, and information about the queue. They appear in the Monitor panel for recent events and in the Search panel for search results.
Each Queue event card contains the following information in storyboard view:
Thumbnail image
Camera number and name
Time of event
Event type
Event length
Queue statistics
with additional information displayed on mouse over:Date of event
Searching for Queue Events
Setting up a Search
Use the Search panel to find Queue events generated days, weeks, or months ago.
To go to the Search panel, click the Search tab.
Define the dates, days of the week, and time ranges to search for events.
Under Cameras, select one or more cameras bound to the Queue Line plug-in.
Under Events, select [ ]Queue to search for events generated by the Queue Line plug-in.
The following options are available when searching for Queue events:
Click ( )All Queue to search for all Queue events generated during the specified time range.
To restrict the search further, click ( )Specify. The following search parameters will be available:
Peak Queue: Check the box next to [ ]Peak Queue and adjust the Minimum and Maximum slider bars return Queue events with Peak Queue values falling into the specified range.
Average Queue: Check the box next to [ ]Average Queue and adjust the Minimum and Maximum slider bars return Queue events with Average Queue values falling into the specified range.
Shortest Queue: Check the box next to [ ]Shortest Queue and adjust the Minimum and Maximum slider bars return Queue events with Shortest Queue values falling into the specified range.
Shortest Queue: Check the box next to [ ]Shortest Queue and adjust the Minimum and Maximum slider bars return Queue events with Shortest Queue values falling into the specified range.
When you are finished specifying the criteria for the search, click the Search button.
Queue events matching your criteria will be displayed in the Search panel results screen.
Select an event card to view the video clip and details associated with the event.
