Lead Bridge(s)PRIMIS Administrators can designate one or more IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB)s in the fleet as “Lead Bridge(s)”. A Lead bridge facilitates global I/O access to the rest of the “Member” bridges.*note: it is highly recommended that Lead Bridge(s) use static IP’s.
Member Bridge(s)“Member” bridges need to know the IP address(s) of “Lead” bridges so as to forward Global I/O requests to the whole IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB) network. To configure Lead Bridge Host IP, uncheck Lead Bridge checkbox and enter IP:
NTP Configuration
IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB) is able to use NTP to sync its system clock. To configure NTP, enter the NTP server’s address and check “enabled.” By default, the NTP server address is pool.ntp.org.*note: for NTP to work, please make sure a legitimate Name Server is configured on the IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB).

After the TCP connection is established between the PRIMIS server and the IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB), we need to install the PRIMIS CA certificate and the client certificate on the IDENTIV EG-2 (Model FR-50-40-SB) by clicking the “Install Certificate” button. The client certificate, together with the PRIMIS CA certificate, is used for the MQTT authentication.
Please make sure the EG-2 is enrolled prior to installing the TLS certificate; otherwise, the certificate installation will fail.
